YMCA Garden Party, Sunday, June 10th, 2pm-4pm

You're invited to an artsy garden party! Mural Dedication • Music • Snacks • Paint Rocks • Garden Costume Contest • and more! In 2016 Our Vibrant Community teamed up with GenHkids to create a community garden mural located at the Kerasotes YMCA (West of the building). Each Monday during the summer youths at this Y would discuss vegetables, what should the mural look like and painted it together, (secret- the most favorite vegetable is the carrot!). This garden as all gardens are a work in progress. We envision this space to be a gathering hub to see vegetables growing, to enjoy sitting outside and appreciating the art making it vibrant year-round. Pictures in the discussion. No charge. Donations will go towards this garden space.
