Old State Capitol Farmers Market May 13th-October 31st Wednesdays & Saturdays 8:00am to 12:30pm
The Market will be held 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturday’s May 13 – October 31 and is located on Adams Street between 5th& 2nd streets. Please note that on Wednesdays all vendors will be located in a two block area East of the railroad tracks on Adams between 5th and 3rd Streets. With 60+ vendors attending throughout the season, there is an outstanding variety of produce, baked goods, meats, cheese, plants and many other specialty items.
The Market accepts LINK, Debit, and Credit Card transactions for the purchase of Market Tokens ($1.00 each). The Market Token Station will be located on the sidewalk in front of the Development Services Group office, 401 E. Adams (NE corner of 4th& Adams) and available 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each Market day. Vendors will also continue to accept cash, checks, WIC and Senior Coupons. A LINK UP grant has been applied for which would allow LINK customers to receive a maximum of $10 of Double Value tokens per market day. If funding becomes available the Double Value program will be activated and continue until funding is expended.
A variety of live music, radio broadcasts, chef demonstrations and kid-friendly activities will be held throughout the Market season. This is a collaborative effort of DSI, Mid-West Family Broadcasting, Maldaner’s, GenHkids, and local musicians. Beginning May 16, local juried artisans will display and sell their original artwork every Saturday, 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., through October 31 in the US Bank parking lot at the SE corner of 4th& Adams.
