Spicing Up the Herb Garden May 21st, 5:00pm-6:00pm
University of Illinois Extension and Dana-Thomas House are co-sponsoring "Spicing Up Your Herb Garden." Program will be presented by David Robson, U of I Extension, on Thursday, May 21 from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. The presentation will be held in the Gallery at the Dana-Thomas House, 301 E. Lawrence Avenue, Springfield. Participants will learn essential plants to have in the herb garden as well as interesting feature plants including Savory, the 2015 Herb of the Year. Tours of the Dana-Thomas House Gardens will be offered following the presentation along with light refreshments made from herbs. There is no cost to attend the event, however seating is limited.
