With your donations, we will identify and assess available land plots in and around Springfield for agriculture use and work with the city of Springfield to facilitate the acquisition of these plots for urban agriculture. We will engage city and county officials to permit ordinances and regulations that encourage urban agriculture and we will work to ensure that all community gardens have access to water, tools and soil testing that are necessary for success. We will provide educational programs and events that will promote community gardening and healthy lifestyles within Springfield. We will strive to increase access to fresh, sustainably grown food throughout the city.  We will work towards integrating gardening and nutrition into school curriculums and creating work-force development programs for youth and beginning urban farmers. Your donation will help us grow so much more than gardens; it will help us grow Springfield into a vibrant, thriving community.
